Conflicts of interest
We monitor potential conflicts of interest. A conflict of interest occurs when a personal, social or financial interest or political activities or business relationships interfere with the objectivity of the person acting on behalf of YPF, which is why they should be avoided.
Anticorruption
At YPF we are committed to conducting our business and activities with transparency. YPF does not, under any circumstances, consent to the offer, delivery or receipt of bribes, favors, or any other form of corruption. We have Zero Tolerance for Corruption.
Gifts and hospitalities
Gifts, present and hospitalities may well be part of building a business relationship. However, it may sometimes be difficult to be objective about the people providing such gifts and impartiality is lost in said relationship. The decisions we take regarding our business relationships with third parties should be based on objective factors, such as cost, quality, value, compliance with deadlines, and service, among others. We even avoid the appearance that we are making business decisions based on gifts we receive from such relationships. Gifts under US$100, per year by source, are acceptable as long as they do not affect our objectivity, or if they do not influence in a commercial, professional or administrative relationship.
